Statistician
Ms. Monica Choudhary is currently working as a Statistician at the ICMR Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Health at PGIMER, Chandigarh. With an impressive academic background, she obtained her PhD degree in Statistics from the University of Jammu, Jammu. Her primary research interests revolve around various crucial areas, including sample survey methodologies, non-response, measurement error, and estimation theory. She possesses more than three years of extensive research experience in the field of Estimation of Sampling Theory. She is proficient in statistical software such as SPSS, Latex and R Software, to conduct analyses and extract meaningful insights from datasets. She has published more than five research papers in prestigious peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals and presented her research work in both National and International conferences. At present, she is actively handling the statistical aspects of systematic reviews and meta-analyses, contributing to evidence-based healthcare decision-making.
Dr. Vivek Singh Malik

A dedicated and impact-oriented scientist with more than 10 years of experience after the Master’s degree in research and capacity building. Eager to build the scientific evidence and disseminate the same for public health, especially chemical migration sources, Particular interest in the evidence-based management of health and achieving the “One Health” goal. He did his Ph.D. on exposure to chemical migration sources and its impact on child and environmental health delivered high-quality results, reflecting his dedication to research and problem-solving. Dr. Malik has organized various prioritization workshops, collaborating with policymakers, administrators, and clinicians from diverse fields. Additionally, he has been actively involved in training and organizing capacity-building workshops on Evidence-Based Medicine. With skills in coordination, leadership, and scientific analysis, Dr. Malik is well-equipped to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of health outcomes.

She worked as Senior Research Fellow in ICMR Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Health.
Ms. Harpreet Kaur
Ms. Harpreet Kaur worked as Library and Information Assistant in ICMR- Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Health, PGIMER, Chandigarh. She holds M.A. (Pub. Admn.), MLISc., PGDLAN and UGC NET(JRF). She has working experience of more than 4 yrs in different college libraries of Chandigarh. Mr. Munish worked as Library cum Technical Assistant in ICMR – Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Health, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has working experience of more than 4 yrs in telemedicine centre. He Attended various workshops, seminars and conferences at National Level.

Mr. Pankaj worked as Senior Research Fellow in ICMR Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Health. He has done his Master in Clinical Microbiology.
Dr. Amit Agarwal
Dr. Amit Agarwal presently worked as Senior Research officer in the “ICMR Advanced centre for Evidence Based Child”, Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Dr. Amit has passed his Masters in Biotechnology from University of Rajasthan. He also worked with Institute of Microbial Technology as a project assistant in molecular biology laboratory. Thereafter he joined PGIMER in an ICMR project as Senior Research Fellow in 2008. He has qualified ICMR fellowship and GATE. He worked as a study coordinator in IndiaCLEN Severe Pneumonia Oral Therapy study (ISPOT). He is associated with this centre from the beginning. He has done his Ph.D. in 2013 under the guidance of Dr. Meenu Singh. He attended many International and national conference. His research work has received Abstract Scholarship Award in the American Thoracic society held at Philadelphia, USA, May 2013.

Dr. Kiran Kumar Thumburu worked as Senior Research officer in the “ICMR Advanced centre for Evidence Based Child”, Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He completed his masters in Medical Biochemistry from Manipal University and PhD from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Attended several national and international conferences and scientific publications in peer reviewed journals to his credit.

Professor Mukhopadyay is presently the Chairman of Paediatrics at Brighton & Sussex Medical School, Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital,U.K. He discovered a novel mechanism causing eczema and asthma and the role of this gene defect on a number of aspects of the development of allergy and asthma in children. He also discovered a gene change that substantially reduces the efficacy of the commonest asthma medicine, the ‘blue inhaler’, in children. His recent randomized controlled trial testing this hypothesis through the development of asthma treatments for children that are personalised according to genotype has generated further international interest. He has collaborated with Professor Meenu Singh at the PGIMER, Chandigarh for many years and jointly published the first systematic review in the field of cystic fibrosis, exploring the field of nebulised anti-pseudomonal antibiotic therapy. Subsequently, Professor Mukhopadhyay has participated in a number of systematic reviews in the field of cystic fibrosis and asthma in children. This work has addressed issues of clinical importance within this paediatric sub-speciality.
Dr. Anil Chauhan
Dr Anil Chauhan is consultant in Evidence Based Health Informatics & Health technology assessment in Regional Resource centre at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has worked as Senior Research Officer under ICMR Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Heath at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He pursued his Ph.D under Dr. Meenu Singh in the field of asthma and allergy in children. He did his master’s degree in the field of Biochemistry from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He pursued International Fellowship course on Health Technology Assessment from School of Public health, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has been involved in conducting systematic reviews, capacity building, literature searching from medical databases and guidelines in the field of Evidence based medicine. He is also a life member of Telemedicine society of India.
Dr. Nishant Premnath Jaiswal
Dr. Nishant Premnath Jaiswal, worked as Senior Research Officer (Medical) in ICMR Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Health at PGIMER. Completed his MBBS in 2006 after which he started working in the department of Pediatrics Govt. Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16 Chandigarh. He has a keen interest in pediatric research and evidence-based medicine and holds a PhD from Department of Pediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has scientific publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals to his credit. He is a life member of Indian Science Congress and also a member of G-I-N (Guidelines International Network).
