Mrs. Kulbir Kaur, M.Sc. in Biotechnology
Senior Research Fellow
Mrs. Kulbir Kaur completed her MSc in Biotechnology in 2012, following which she joined a research project at PGIMER, Chandigarh, to begin her career. With over 8 years of experience, she has become well-versed in the field of research especially in the projects related to Child health. She actively participates in various review group activities of the centre and is an integral part of their research initiatives. Mrs. Kulbir Kaur’s contributions have led to the publication of more than 5 papers, adding to her academic achievements and further enriching the knowledge base in her area of expertise. With more than 2 years of expertise in evidence-based medicine, she is well versed with the aspects of study selection to data analysis and interpretation. This makes her a well-rounded researcher who is capable of applying a systematic and rigorous approach to her work. She has been an active contributor to the centre’s workshops and trainings.
Mrs. Sarita Dogra, M.Sc., M.Phil. in Biotechnology
Senior Research Fellow
Mrs. Sarita Dogra currently serves as Senior Research Fellow at the ICMR Advanced Centre for Evidence Based Child Health at PGIMER, Chandigarh. She has obtained her MSc and MPhil degree in Biotechnology from Himachal Pradesh University. Over the course of her 6 years of professional experience in research, she has excelled in sample collection, storage, and processing for microbial and molecular studies. Furthermore, she gained expertise in conducting randomized control trials in the Neonatal sepsis domain. Mrs. Dogra’s exceptional work led to her selection for poster presentation among the top 21 young scientists, earning her the Young Investigator Award at the 13th India Probiotic Symposium. Her research work has also been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Ms. Shivani Saini, B.A. Honours, Diploma in Computer Applications

Ms. Shivani Saini has played a crucial role in coordinating and managing project activities, particularly in compiling documentation at every step. Leveraging her computer and soft skills, she successfully managed the website portal for online trainings. This portal served as a vital platform for delivering training materials to participants, and her expert management contributed to enhancing the overall learning experience. She is involved in moderating various activities of the Centre including online webinars, short courses, and workshops. She developed contents using MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Google form as well as involved in the mass mailing. She is skilled in organizing live sessions using Zoom, and WebEx, besides having knowledge of content Development. Furthermore, she has been responsible for tracking the financial aspects of the funds and accounts.
